As you can see, the two layers of high impact acrylic form a "dead-air" space. Next to a complete vacuum "dead-air" is one of the best insulators on the planet. This design makes our walls solid and strong while diffusing the sunlight, a design only found in a Sunglo greenhouse. Our Acrylic Plexiglass walls are also made with a special UV (ultraviolet) inhibitor, which will resist discoloration and deterioration from age and abuse of direct sunlight. Just think of how well your plants will grow without the harmful scorching effects of UV light! As a result of our special UV coating you can expect at least ten to twenty years of growing pleasure from your Sunglo greenhouse.
